Haikus 31-40

"The Seven Sisters"
Drifting through the azure sky
Pleiadian stars.

Dream codes drift through my
Mind at night, speaking wisdom
Flashing as symbols.

Water drips from ice
Cold cave stalactites frozen
Melting in the spring.

The river's rushing
White water rapids building
Thundering along.

Lightning strikes the ground
In the distant desert night
Zig-zagging the sky.

The wind whistles through
The branches of old oak trees
In the sparse forest.

The snow melts into
The streams running down mountains
Water winds away.

Samadhi stiffens
The body's still asana
The mind enlightened.

Zen sentence sleep talk
To awaken from awake
The dream spell broken.

Snake coils slithers
Trough the trees, along the ground
Slowly and limbless.
